Drake wins a
lot, but even those at the top take an L once in a while. While the
platinum-selling recording artist was performing in Phoenix on Tuesday,
thieves reportedly jacked jewelry worth millions of dollars from the tour bus,
according to TMZ.
The
finessers apparently took a briefcase full of bling. According to TMZ, the
briefcase actually belongs to Future the Prince, Drake’s DJ. For good
reason, Drizzy was pissed when he learned about the incident. In the video
obtained by TMZ, the Toronto artist is yelling loudly and gesturing furiously.
The publication says detectives are reviewing the security footage to ID
whoever hit the lick.
In
other Drake-related news, the Views artist
recently announced he’s opening a pop-up store in Los Angeles. Taking to Instagram in the late hours on
Tuesday (Sept. 6), the hip-hop and R&B superstar provided his followers
with the address and dates to his latest Summer Sixteen pop-up location. Set to
take place today (Sept. 7) through Saturday (Sept. 10), the special pop-up
shop will be located at 659 S. La Brea Ave. in Hollywood.
In
case you missed it, read up on how the “Controlla” artist became Spotify’s most streamed musician in both the U.S. and the
world, according to the charts. Drizzy is known for making moves at all
times. The OVO frontman recently announced that he’s opening a dance club in Houston next year.
He also took to Instagram to confirm that his club at Houston’s Toyota
Center is only the beginning of what’s to come.
